Privacy Policy

The operator of RepairKarte (“we” or “us”) handles personal information in the repair-reception and customer-management service “RepairKarte” (the “Service”) as follows.

1. Information We Collect

  1. Registered shop information: shop name, the name and username of the person in charge, email address, password (stored as a cryptographic hash and never in plain text), and shop details such as address and phone number.
  2. Customer information entered by shops: the names, phone numbers, repair details, photos, LINE-account linkage information, and similar data of a shop’s customers that the shop enters into the Service for its business. We handle such data as entrusted by the shop, and each shop determines the purpose of its use.
  3. Automatically collected information: access logs (IP address, date and time, operation records) and cookies (used to maintain login state and manage sessions). We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.

2. Purposes of Use

  1. Providing the Service, verifying identity, and managing logins.
  2. Responding to inquiries and sending important notices.
  3. Preventing misuse and ensuring security (e.g., login-attempt limits and audit logs).
  4. Improving the quality of the Service and responding to failures.
  5. Administrative tasks related to billing.

3. Provision to Third Parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s consent, except where required by law or necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property.

4. Subcontractors and External Services

In providing the Service, we use the following external services. Information is entrusted to, or transmitted to, these providers to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS)Sending email (recipient addresses for confirmation, password reset, etc.).
LY Corporation (LINE)LINE notification integration (a customer’s LINE user ID and notification content, where a shop has set up LINE integration).
Google (Google Fonts)Font delivery for the marketing pages (IP address and similar data are sent to Google on access).

5. Security Measures

  1. Communications are encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
  2. Passwords are hashed, and secrets such as API keys are stored encrypted.
  3. Data is stored separately per shop, structured so that other shops cannot access it.
  4. Data is backed up regularly.

6. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, etc.

We respond promptly, in accordance with law and after verifying identity, to requests from individuals for the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their personal information. Please contact info@repairkarte.com. Note that for customer information registered by a shop, it may be appropriate to first contact that shop.

7. Cookies

The Service uses cookies to maintain login state and ensure security (CSRF protection). If you disable cookies in your browser settings, you will not be able to log in to the Service.

8. Revisions

This policy may be revised in response to changes in law or in the Service. For material changes, we will give notice by posting within the Service or by similar means.
