Why it exists
Small repair shops lose time to paper slips, phone calls asking whether a repair is ready, and estimates waiting for an answer. Most repair software is built for phone and computer shops that also sell products, with a register, stock and a monthly price to match.
Repair Karte does one job: track each repair from drop-off to pickup and keep the customer informed. Customers check progress and approve estimates on a status page instead of calling. It works the same for a watch, a pair of shoes, a guitar or a bicycle, and it starts free for up to 100 repairs a month.
How we run the service
- A simple screen by default. Many features stay off until a shop turns them on in Settings, so the everyday screen stays short.
- Honest about what it doesn't do. We list what Repair Karte does not do (SMS, POS, inventory and more) next to what it does: see the full list.
- Your data stays yours. No advertising or tracking cookies. When you cancel, we hand your data over. Details: security and data.
- Changes are announced. Every update is posted on the news page (also as an RSS feed).
Elsewhere
- Repair Magazine on YouTube (the operator's channel about repair shops, in Japanese)
- ITreview (a Japanese software review site)
Repair Karte is new and does not have third-party reviews yet. If you use it, a short review on a software review site helps other shops decide.
