The Free plan covers up to 100 repairs a month for 1 staff login, with no credit card, and stays free. Automatic email updates to customers start on Standard. Every new account gets all Pro features free for 30 days.

4. Where Repair Karte is different

  • A free plan you can stay on. Up to 100 repairs a month for one login, with no time limit and no credit card. Your records stay if you never upgrade.
  • Monthly billing at a fixed price per shop. $25 a month for up to 3 people, $49 a month for any number, with unlimited repairs on both. Nothing is paid upfront.
  • Status page and estimate approval on every plan. Each repair has its own page where the customer checks progress and approves the estimate from their phone, with no login.
  • Set up for your trade. Watches, shoes, instruments, bicycles, clothing, cameras, phones: the item types and common jobs match what you fix from the first day.
  • We bring your records over for you. Send your old system's export, a spreadsheet or photos of paper tickets, and our team imports them, free on every plan.
The customer approves the estimate on the repair's status page.

5. Switching to Repair Karte in four steps

1

Export from your current software

Export your customers and tickets from RepairDesk or RepairShopr as CSV or Excel files. If part of your list lives in a spreadsheet or on paper tickets, that works too.

2

Ask us to import it

In Repair Karte, open Settings > Check-in & jobs > Ask us to import and send the files. Our team imports them into repair records for you, free on every plan including Free. The request also appears in the support chat, and your customers are not messaged during the import.

3

Run both side by side for a while

Take new repairs in Repair Karte while you finish the ones already in progress. Try the status page and estimate approval with a few real customers before you move everything.

4

Switch over

Once the repairs you are holding are in Repair Karte, take every new repair there. Your old ticket numbers are kept in the notes, so customers who bring an old claim ticket can still be found.
